Broadcast programmes are produced on guidelines of the syllabus as provided by NERDC (Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council). The Corporation receives the cooperation of producers (and sometimes consultants) to produce scripts. Producers receive feedback from teachers. The education is formal, relating to syllabi for primary, secondary and teacher-training education. The subjects taught are: for Primary, Stories for Children, and Speaking English; for Secondary, Biology, French, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Introductory Technology, Geography, Mathematics, Agricultural Science; and for Teacher Training Colleges, Child Psychology, Principles and Practice of Education, Guidance and Counselling. | |||||||||||||||||||
